Dallin's MTC Entry

Well, I'm sorta new to this whole blogging thing so this might be a little weird. Anyway, I thought that the family would enjoy seeing some pictures of Dallin's little visit here to Provo. We decided to get together on Monday evening to have a Shaw family home evening together. Of course we had the future Elder give the lesson even though he had to be coerced a little bit. He shared 2 Corinthians 12: 7-10 which discusses Paul's thorn in the flesh. He's probably sure to fine plenty of "thorns in the flesh" as he enters the mission field. After the lesson we carved some pumpkins and just had a great time. It was great to have the family together and to see Dallin off. On Tuesday, Dallin came to my financial management class with me and quickly fell asleep - I have to admit I wanted to do the same thing. Finally he entered the MTC on Wednesday, a little nervous, but excited for his new adventure. He will be a great missionary and we were so happy we could see him off. For those who may not have his address, it will be the following while he is in the MTC:

Elder Dallin Shaw
MTC Mailbox 250
Arg-BAN 1231
2005 N 900 E
Provo, UT 84604

Anyway, that's enough of me talking, let's see some pictures...

Yeah for the blog!!! I am exited to be the first to comment. It must have been so fun to be there to see Dallin off. I really wish that I could have been there....a missionary only leaves once! The pictures look fabulous- we have quite a good looking family. I am excited to see ya'll in a week.

What does "Nosso Lar" mean?

I just left a comment, but it didn't seem to work......so if you end up seeing two from me, you will know why.
Yeah for the blog! I love it....this way we can stay up with what is going on in your lives.
See you soon.
